             The NatureTrack Film Festival (NTFF) is thrilled to announce the first round of highlights for its 6th annual event, happening at the Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta, October 11-13, 2024. With the full program release just weeks away, now is the time to secure early bird tickets before they’re gone!

        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

              Opening Night: Friday, October 11th
             &#xD;
          &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
             The festival kicks off with the Central Coast Theatrical Premiere of "Jane Goodall's Reasons for Hope." 
            &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
             "Drawing on decades of work by the world’s most famous living naturalist, “Jane Goodall’s Reasons for Hope” is an uplifting journey around the globe to highlight good news stories that will inspire people to make a difference in the world around them." 
            &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
             Opening Night will also include World Premieres of two short films: “Open Space” by local filmmaker Cody Westheimer and “Otter Space,” directed by Michael Love. To close the first official event of the 2024 NatureTrack Film Festival, VIP attendees and opening night ticketholders will enjoy a celebratory reception in the official Festival Hub, where they can connect with attending filmmakers and fellow nature advocates and meet the NatureTrack team ahead of the whirlwind weekend schedule. 
            &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

              Saturday Night: October 12th
             &#xD;
          &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
             On Saturday, the festival will host the World Premiere of "Animal Pride," a remarkable new PBS film exploring queer animal behavior and its history through the eyes of naturalist Connel Bradwell. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&amp;amp;A session with director Rio Mitchell and Bradwell himself to learn about this new piece of storytelling showcasing an underrepresented aspect of the natural world. 
            &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
             Additional film features for this evening include the World Premiere of UCSB’s Coastal Media Project short film, "Ploverize," and the Southern California Premiere of "399: Queen of the Tetons." Saturday will conclude with a lively party at the Festival Hub, featuring live music from the Brasscals and opportunities to meet the day’s attending filmmakers. 
            &#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;b&gt;&#xD;
            
              Sunday Night: October 13th
             &#xD;
          &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
          
             The festival will close with the World Premiere of "Tagliamento—The King of Alpine Rivers," followed by a Q&amp;amp;A with director John Dutton, the 2023 NTFF Audience Award winner. The 2024 Awards ceremony will follow, followed by a final party for pass holders.

        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          July 12, 2024 | Goleta, CA: The late Chris Potter is named as the local artist featured on this year's official NatureTrack Film Festival (NTFF) poster at a special event on Thursday, July 11th at 4:00 pm at Camino Real Cinemas in Goleta.

          This year's NTFF poster will feature artwork by the late renowned local artist
          &#xD;
    &lt;a href="https://www.chrispotterart.com/about" target="_blank"&gt;&#xD;
      
           Chris Potter
          &#xD;
    &lt;/a&gt;&#xD;
    
          with a portrait of ‘Potters Point’, the bluffs recently renamed in Potter's honor by the city of Goleta. 
         &#xD;

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          The poster will be revealed by Potter's wife, Julie Beaumont Potter alongside NTFF Managing Director Gareth Kelly and notable VIPs from the Goleta Community. 
         &#xD;

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

           “Chris and I have always loved to support local non-profits,” said Beaumont Potter.  “When the NatureTrack Film Festival reached out to me, it was an honor to have them use the portrait by Chris of his favorite spot for their poster.  What Chris cherished the most was Nature!”
          &#xD;
    &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

          The poster reveal took place on Thursday, July 11th at 4:00 pm at Camino Real Cinemas at the Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta - the newly announced home of this year's festival.

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          “We couldn't think of a better image for this year's poster than Potter’s point,” Kelly added. “We know Chris meant so much to the local community and we’re thrilled to honor his life and his work in this way”.

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          The 6th edition of the NatureTrack Film Festival takes place October 11-13th and promises to be the biggest and best yet with a record number of film submissions received from over 30 countries including World, US &amp;amp; California premieres. The full film program will be announced in late August.

         A carefully curated program of films from over 30 countries ordinarily only found at BANFF, Big Sky, Mountain Film, and other major festivals will grace the big screen in Goleta.

          The NatureTrack Film Festival (NTFF) announced today that lovers of the great outdoors and film enthusiasts alike should mark their calendars for the 6th annual NatureTrack Film Festival, happening October 11-13, 2024, at the Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta. Over three days, festival attendees will be wowed with adventure films, visually arresting documentaries, animated films, and films that defy conventional perceptions of nature-centered cinema. The full program of films will be announced in September.

            With the mission to Ignite Passion for Nature Through Film, the 2024 festival will showcase over 50 films from around the world that focus on nature, share a passion for environmental stewardship, and celebrate outdoor adventure. The festival will feature an opening night party, filmmaker panels, tributes, and more!

            Founded in Los Olivos, CA, in 2018, the NatureTrack Film Festival has become a yearly highlight for filmmakers, conservationists, and nature lovers from California and worldwide. Past NTFF films have won prestigious awards across the film festival circuit, including Oscar shortlisted Between Earth &amp;amp; Sky, and Range Rider - now a Patagonia Film.

            New this year, the NatureTrack Foundation will present a family-friendly outdoor Summer Screening Series at El Capitan campground,  in partnership with California State Parks, starting on Saturday, July 6th at 7:30 pm with a screening of

          &lt;font&gt;&#xD;

            This screening series will be free, open to the public, and will feature films from past editions of NTFF.

            Proceeds from the film festival directly support NatureTrack's mission of providing outdoor experiences to children and wheelchair users, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to access, appreciate, and learn from nature's wonders.
